Abstract

  • In February 2013, the NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 85.20; Horticultural Sub-sector (NTP-H) 117,42; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 124,41; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 90.69; and Fisheries Subsector (NTP-Pi) 108.80. Where Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 106.31 or increased 0.25 percent compared to the previous month, or ranks second to increase NTP nationally. While the National NTP of 105.19 or decreased by 0.45 percent.
  • In February 2013, 7 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, 1 province did not experience any change in NTP (stable) compared to previous month ie Central Sulawesi Province, and 24 other provinces decreased NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in South Kalimantan Province at 0.35 percent. While the largest decrease of NTP occurred in West Java Province and East Java Province that is each of 0.81
  • In February 2013, the change in rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.25 percent. This happened because of the increase of price index in seven consumption groups namely; foodstuffs 0.38 percent, finished food group 0.19 percent; housing 0.13 percent; clothing 0.01 percent; health 0.05 percent; as well as transportation and communication 0.01 percent. While the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience changes in consumer price index.
