Abstract

  • In May 2013, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 84,93; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 117.86; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-Pr) 125.09; Livestock Sub-sector (NTP-Pt) 90.99; and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 109.12. Where Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 106.60 or increased 0.68 percent compared to the previous month, or ranked fourth to increase NTP of 32 provinces. While the National NTP of 104.95 or rose by 0.39 percent.
  • In May 2013, 25 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 7 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in Lampung Province by 0.85 percent. While the largest decrease in NTP occurred in West Kalimantan province by 0.74 percent.
  • In May 2013, the change in rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.08 percent. This happened because of the increase of price index in six consumption groups namely; food ingredients 0.05 percent; housing 0.39 percent; clothing 0.38 percent; health 0.24 percent; education, recreation and sports 019 percent; and Transport and communication 0.07 percent.
