Abstract

  • In December 2011, the NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 87.03; Horticultural Subsector (NTPH) 123.90; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 123,96; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 91.81 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 108.22. Where the Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 107.47 or increased 0.05 percent over the previous month, or was ranked seventh nationally. While the National NTP of 105.75 or rose by 0.11 percent.
  • In December 2011, 19 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 13 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in Bengkulu Province by 0.77 percent. While the largest NTP decline occurred in Maluku Province of 0.54 percent.
  • In December 2011, inflation in rural Southeast Sulawesi was 0.17 percent due to the 0.70 percent increase in the food group price index, 0.48 percent for housing, 0.60 percent for clothing and 0.19 percent for the health group price index.
