Abstract

  • In June 2012, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 86,23; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 121,98; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 123,39; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 90.58 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 108.46. Where the Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 106.83 or an increase of 0.15 percent compared to the previous month, or ranked tenth nationally. While the National NTP of 104.88 or an increase of 0.11 percent.
  • In June 2012, 13 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, one province was unchanged, while another 18 provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase in NTP occurred in West Java Province of 0.96 percent. While the largest NTP decline occurred in West Kalimantan Province of 0.62 percent.
  • In June 2012, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.13 percent. This is due to an increase in the price index in all groups, namely foodstuff category 0.10 percent; food so 0.27 percent; housing 0.16 percent; clothing 0.10 percent; health 0.02 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.21 percent; and the transport and communications group price index was 0.09 percent.
