Abstract

  • In August 2012, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 85.29; Horticultural Sub-sector (NTP-H) 121,64; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 123,97; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 90.24 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 108.56. Where the Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 106.70 or increased 0.25 percent over the previous month, or ranked eighth nationally. While the National NTP of 105.26 or up by 0.28 percent.
  • In August 2012, 18 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 14 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in Banten Province at 1.00 percent. While the largest decrease in NTP occurred in the province of Bengkulu which amounted to 0.53 percent.
  • In August 2012, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.62 percent. This is due to an increase in the price index in all consumption groups, namely foodstuffs group 0.78 percent; food so 0.57 percent; housing 0.28 percent; clothing 0.83 percent; health 0.46 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.11 percent; and transportation and communication 0.04 percent.
