Abstract

  • In October 2012, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 85.99; Horticultural Sub-sector (NTP-H) 121,09; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 123,11; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 90.29 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 108.30. Where the Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 106.51 or an increase of 0.35 percent compared to the previous month, or was on the order of eleven largest increase nationally. While the National NTP of 105.76 or increased by 0.33 percent.
  • In October 2012, as many as 22 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, 2 provinces did not experience any change in NTP. While the other 8 provinces decreased NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in North Maluku Province by 0.82 percent. While the largest decrease in NTP occurred in East Kalimantan Province of 0.35 percent.
  • In October 2012, the change in rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi decreased by 0.23 percent. This happens because of the decrease of price index changes in two consumption groups, namely foodstuffs 0.50 percent; and housing 0.22 percent. One consumption group did not change (stable) ie the health group. While the other four consumption groups experienced a relatively small increase of 0.30 percent finished food; clothing 0.11 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.12 percent; and transportation and communication 0.31 percent.
