Abstract

  • The Southeast Sulawesi NTP index in October 2013 was 105.72, up 0.48 percent from the previous month. The NTP index of each sub-sector was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 81.56; Horticultural Sub-sector (NTP-H) 115,82; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-Pr) 125,81; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 88.66; and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 110,48. While the National NTP Index of 105.30 or rose by 0.71 percent.
  • In October 2013, nationally 30 provinces experienced an increase in the NTP Index and 2 other provinces decreased. The highest increase was recorded in Banten Province at 1.55 percent. While the largest decline was recorded in Lampung Province by 0.16 percent. Southeast Sulawesi province is on the order of fifteen increase of NTP Index.
  • In October 2013, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.20 percent. This occurs because of the increase of the price index in six consumption groups, namely: 0.38 percent finished food group; housing 0.59 percent; 0.75 percent clothing; health 1.16 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.20 percent; as well as transportation and communication 0.08 percent.
