Abstract

  • In May 2011, the NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 87.79; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 119.50; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 128,49; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 92.09 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 107.37. Where NTP Southeast Sulawesi recorded 108.11 or decreased 0.48 percent compared to the previous month, or in the order of twenty-nine nationally. While the National NTP of 104.50 or an increase of 0.57 percent.
  • In May 2011, as many as 19 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, 12 provinces experienced a decrease in NTP and 1 province was unchanged (stable). The highest increase in NTP occurred in Lampung Province at 1.88 percent. While the largest decrease in NTP occurred in East Kalimantan Province of 0.91 percent.
  • In May 2011, inflation in rural Southeast Sulawesi increased by 0.06 percent due to a rise in the 0.53 percent price index for foodstuffs; housing group price index 0.89 percent; the clothing price index of 0.47 percent; health group price index 0.18 percent; the education, recreation and sports group price index was 0.09 percent and the transport and communications group price index was 0.02 percent.
