Abstract

The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in October 2023 reached US$491.31 million or an increase of 33.54 percent compared to exports in September 2023 which was recorded at US$367.92 million. Meanwhile, the export volume in October 2023 was recorded at 356.92 thousand tons or an increase of 89.71 percent compared to the export volume in September 2023 which was recorded at 188.13 thousand tons.

The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in October 2023 reached US$125.74 million, up 42.98 percent compared to September 2023 or up 3.12 percent compared to October 2022. The import volume in October 2023 was worth 344.08 thousand tonnes, up 115.59 percent compared to September 2023 or an increase of 23.77 percent compared to October 2022.

Southeast Sulawesi's trade balance in October 2023 experienced a surplus of US$365.58

million.
