Exports in March 2023 Reached US$431.76 million March 2023 imports valued at US$255.36 million, up 67.74 percent compared to February 2023
  • Southeast Sulawesi's export value in March 2023 reached US$431.76 million, an increase of 26.85 percent compared to exports in February 2023 which were recorded at US$340.36 million. Temporary
  • The export volume in March 2023 was recorded at 217.77 thousand tons, an increase of 36.16 percent compared to the export volume in February 2023 which was recorded at 159.94 thousand tons.
  • The largest increase in Southeast Sulawesi exports in March 2023 occurred in Iron and Steel commodities worth US$90.52 million (up 26.83 percent), where in February it was US$337.33 million, increasing to US$427.86 million in March.
  • By sector, exports to Southeast Sulawesi in March 2023 were dominated by the manufacturing sector, amounting to US$431.13 million (99.85 percent).
  • Southeast Sulawesi's import value in March 2023 reached US$255.36 million, up 67.74 percent compared to February 2023 or down 43.31 percent compared to March 2022.
  • The import volume in March 2023 was valued at 555.07 thousand tons, up 89.45 percent compared to February 2023 or down 18.93 percent compared to March 2022.
  • The increase in imports of the largest category of goods in March 2023 compared to February 2023 was Salt, Sulfur, Lime (25), namely US$5.85 million (an increase of 329,799.19 percent).
