Economic Condition of Consumer Quarter II-2014

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Sulawesi Tengggara in Quarter II-2014 was 110.85, meaning that the consumer's economic condition increased from the previous quarter. The level of consumer optimism is higher than that in Quarter I-2014 (index value of 103.71).
Improved consumer economic conditions are driven primarily by increased household incomes and rising household consumption of some food and non-food commodities. While the influence of inflation on daily food consumption is relatively unchanged.

Consumer Economy Outlook Quarter III-2014

The value of ITK Sulawesi Tengggara in the third quarter of 2014 by the public is estimated to reach 116.45, meaning that the economic condition of consumers by society is expected to improve. The level of consumer optimism is predicted to be higher than the second Quarter-2014 (ITK value of 110.85).
The improvement in consumer economic condition in the third quarter of 2014 is predicted to occur due to an increase in consumer income and is reinforced by an increase in procurement plans for durable goods by consumers.
