Abstract

  • South East Sulawesi's NTP index in December 2013 was 101.89, up 0.67 percent from 101.21 in the previous month. The NTP index of each sub-sector was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 95,83; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) 98,84; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-Pr) 104,96; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 103.27; and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 106,91. While the National NTP Index of 101.96 or rose by 0.15 percent from the previous 101.81 ..
  • In December 2013, nationally 23 provinces experienced an increase in the NTP Index and 10 other provinces decreased. The highest increase was recorded in Jambi Province at 1.85 percent, the largest decline recorded in Riau Islands Province by 0.74 percent. Southeast Sulawesi province is on the tenth rank of the NTP Index.
  • In December 2013, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.10 percent. This is due to an increase in the price index in the food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.03 percent; housing 0.16 percent; clothing 0.18 percent; health 0.03 percent; education, recreation, and sports 0.02 percent; and transportation and communication 0.64 percent.
