Abstract

  • In October 2011, the NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 86.65; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 121.02; Subsector of Smallholder Plantations (NTP-R) 124.62; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 90.73 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 107.45. Where the Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 106.90 or increased 0.11 percent compared to the previous month, or ranked seventeenth nationally. While the National NTP of 105.51 or an increase of 0.33 percent.
  • In October 2011, as many as 20 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, 11 provinces experienced a decrease in NTP and 1 province did not experience NTP (stable) change. The highest increase of NTP occurred in West Java Province by 1.08 percent. While the largest decrease of NTP occurred in Central Sulawesi Province that is equal to 0.76 percent.
  • In October 2011, there was a deflation in Southeast Sulawesi rural areas by 0.01 percent due to the decline in the foodstuff price index by 0.10 percent and the transportation and communications group price index by 0.07 percent.
