Abstract

  • In March 2011, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 86,72; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 120,12; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 130,34; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 92.23 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 107.54. Where Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 108.44 or increased 0.99 percent over the previous month, or ranked first nationally. While the National NTP of 103.32 or decreased by 0.01 percent.
  • Of 32 provinces reported in March 2011, 21 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 11 provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Southeast Sulawesi Province of 0.99 percent. While the largest decrease of NTP occurred in Riau Province that is equal to 1.21 percent.
  • In March 2011, there was a deflation in Southeast Sulawesi rural areas by 0.39 percent due to the decline in the foodstuffs group's price index by 1.07 percent and the increase in the index of 0.82 percent; housing 0.54 percent; clothing 0.43 percent; health 0.04 percent and education, recreation and sports 0.08 percent.
