  • Kendari City Inflation in January 2010 amounted to 0.57 percent
  • The rise in the food stuff group price index was 2.74 percent.
  • The increase in the price index of the finished food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco category was 1.09 percent.
  • The rise in the price index in the housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group by 0.40 percent.
  • The decline in the clothing group price index by 0.61 percent.
  • The increase in the health group price index was 0.16 percent.
  • The increase in the education, recreation and sports group price index was 0.48 percent
  • The decline in transport group pricing, communications & financial services was 1.58 percent
  • The inflation rate of Kendari City in calendar year 2010 was 0.57 percent and inflation "year on year" (CPI January 2010 compared to January 2009 CPI) of 3.15 percent.
  • National inflation portrait in January 2010 was recorded at 0.84 percent. Of the 66 cities that calculate the CPI, all cities reflect inflation. the highest inflation occurred in Maumere City 3.56 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Palu and Sorong 0.12 percent.
