Kendari - BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Tenggara Province has just released several of the latest strategic indicators related to Inflation, Farmer Exchange Rate, Export-Import, Room Occupation Rate and Transportation.
This was conveyed by the Head of BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Tenggara Province, Agnes Widiastuti, in a press release at BPS Southeast Sulawesi Province, Monday (03/06/2024). The following is a summary of the results of the press release:
1️⃣ In May 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) for Southeast Sulawesi Province will be 2.57 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Baubau City at 2.96 percent.
2️⃣ Southeast Sulawesi's NTP in May 2024 was recorded at 114.18 or a decrease of 2.12 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 116.66.
3️⃣ The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in April 2024 reached US$319.41 million or an increase of 12.00 percent compared to exports in March 2024 which was recorded at US$285.20 million.
4️⃣ Southeast Sulawesi's import value in April 2024 reached US$106.42 million, down 41.59 percent compared to March 2024 or down 18.15 percent compared to April 2023.
5️⃣ The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Southeast Sulawesi in April 2024 was recorded at 30.70 percent or down 1.20 points compared to the previous month.
6️⃣ The number of passengers departing by air transportation in Southeast Sulawesi Province in April 2024 increased by 28.95 percent.
