Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's NTP in July 2023 was recorded at 101.40 or an increase of 0.20 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 100.19.

The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) of 0.21 percent, which was higher than the price index paid by farmers (Ib), which increased by 0.01 percent.

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
