In October 2022, Kendari City experienced a year on year (yoy) inflation of 6.68 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 115.19. The highest yoy inflation occurred in Tanjung Selor at 9.11 percent with a CPI of 112.73 and the lowest occurred in Ternate at 3.32 percent with a CPI of 110.75.

The month-to-month (mtm) inflation rate for October 2022 was 0.27 percent and the year-to-date (ytd) inflation rate for October 2022 was 6.18 percent.

Commodities contributing to yoy inflation include air transportation, gasoline, household fuel, urban transportation, cooking oil, academies/colleges, cars, filtered kretek cigarettes, broiler eggs, and elementary schools.
