Abstract

The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in July 2022 reached US$353.24 million, down 27.27 percent compared to exports in June 2022 which were recorded at US$485.70 million. Meanwhile, the export volume in July 2022 was recorded at 168.21 thousand tons or decreased by 18.36 percent compared to the export volume in June 2022 which was recorded at 206.04 thousand tons.
The largest decline in Southeast Sulawesi's exports in July 2022 occurred in Iron and Steel commodities worth US$131.22 million (down 27.25 percent).
"The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in July 2022 reached US$189.89 million, a decrease of 30.31 percent compared to June 2022 or an increase of 60.54 percent compared to July 2021.
Import volume in July 2022 was worth 246.75 thousand tons, down 43.92 percent compared to June 2022 or up 48.04 percent compared to July 2021.
The largest decrease in imports of goods in July 2022 compared to June 2022 was iron and steel, which was US$59.75 million (down 51.22 percent).
