Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi with all the potential of Natural Resources has opportunities in foreign trade which is reflected in export statistics. Export Statistics Data is obtained from the Export Declaration Document (PEB) from Customs and Excise. Commodities that have been the mainstay of Southeast Sulawesi include iron and steel and various marine products, while export destinations are spread across the continents of Asia, Australia and Europe.
The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in October 2021 reached US$ 590.68 million, an increase of 70.02 percent compared to September 2021 exports which were recorded at US$ 347.41 million. Meanwhile, the export volume in October 2021 was recorded at 264.49 thousand tons, an increase of 59.42 percent compared to the export volume in September 2021 which was recorded at 165.91 thousand tons.
Southeast Sulawesi's total exports during January-October 2021 reached 1,871.95 thousand tons or US$3,533.67 million.
