Abstract

The Southeast Sulawesi NTP index in July 2017 was 93.06 or decreased by 1.40 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 94.38. The NTP index of each sub-sector was recorded as follows: Food Crop Subsector (NTPP) 86.89; Horticultural Subsector (NTPH) 87.90; Subsector of Plantation Plantation (NTPR) 87,85; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 104.48; And Fisheries Sub-sector (NTNP) 113,86. While the National NTP Index of 100.65 or rose by 0.12persen from the previous 100.53.
In July 2017, nationally 10 provinces experienced an increase in NTP Index, while 23 other provinces experienced a decrease in index. The highest increase was recorded in East Java Province of 0.89 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Southeast Sulawesi Province of 1.40 percent.
In July 2017, Southeast Sulawesi province recorded a 0.94 percent rural inflation. This is due to an increase in the price index in all support groups: foodstuffs rose by 1.88 percent; Processed food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco by 0.36 percent; Housing 0.03 percent; Clothing group 0.09 percent; Education, recreation and sports group 0.83 percent; As well as transport and communications group rose by 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, the healthcare group declined by 0.01 percent
