Abstract

Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) index of Sulawesi Tenggara on May 2017 recorded at 94.95 or increased by 0.05 percent compared to the previous month that was recorded at 94.91. Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) index each subsector recorded as follows: Food Crops Subsector 90.96; Horticulture Crops Subsector 89.30; Smallholder Estate Crop Subsector 90.04; Animal Husbandry Subsector 104.78 and Fishery subsector at 113.90. While the National Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) index is 100.15 increased by 0.14 percent from the previous 100.01.
On May 2017, 12 provinces get increasing Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) Index; and another 21 provinces get decreasing. The highest increasing is recorded in Jawa Barat of 1.05 percent, the biggest decreasing is recorded in Bangka Belitung of 1.91 percent.
On May 2017, rural inflasion rate of Sulawesi Tenggara recorded on 0,23 percent. This is due to the increasing of all price index of the group: foodstuffs 0.25 percent; Prepared food 0.10 percent; housing 0.08 percent; clothing 0.38 percent; health 0.26 percent; and education, recreation, and sports 0.20 percent, and also transportation and communication 0.43 percent.
