Abstract
Inflation Kendari City in July 2016, was recorded at 0.77 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 121.79. Nationally from 82 cities that calculates inflation, 48 cities recorded inflation and 34 cities recorded deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Sibolga (Sumatera Utara) of 1,32 percent and the lowest was recorded in the city of Depok (Jawa Barat Province) 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the higgest deflation was recorded in Sorong (Papua Barat Province) 1.10 percent and the lowest was recorded in the Banda Aceh (Aceh Province) and Merauke (Papua Province), each at 0.02 percent
Inflation in Kendari recorded due to the rising price index for processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.61 percent; groceries 0.31 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.19 percent; 0.13 percent of health and education, recreation and sport 0.05 percent. While the group recorded a negative, namely clothing 0.33 percent as well as transport, communication and financial services 0.28 percent.
