Abstract
Inflation Kendari City in July 2016, was recorded at 0.77 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 121.65. Nationally from 82 cities that calculates inflation, 78 cities recorded inflation and four cities recorded deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Tanjung Pandan (Bangka Belitung) of 2.34 percent and the lowest was recorded in the city of Gorontalo (Gorontalo Province) 0.06 percent. Meanwhile, the higgest deflation was recorded in Jayapura (Papua Province) 1.10 percent.
Inflation in Kendari recorded due to the rising price index on education, recreation and sport 5.67 percent; transportation, communication and financial services 0.87 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.54 percent; clothing 0.50 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.26 percent and 0.21 percent groceries. While the health group recorded a negative inflation, namely 0.02 percent.
