Abstract

Consumer Economy Conditions Quarter III-2013

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Sulawesi Tengggara in Quarter III-2013 was 114.52, meaning that the consumer's economic condition increased from the previous quarter. The level of public optimism also increased compared to Quarter II-2013 (index value of 107.62).
Improved consumer economic conditions are mainly driven by increased household incomes, low inflationary effects on daily food consumption, and increased consumption of some food and non-food commodities.

Consumer Economy Outlook Quarter IV-2013

The value of ITK Sulawesi Tengggara in the fourth quarter of 2013 by the public is estimated to reach 108.73, meaning that the economic condition of consumers by the public is expected to improve. The level of consumer optimism is predicted to be lower than the third quarter of 2013 (ITK rating of 114.52).
