Abstract

Consumer Economy Conditions Quarter II-2013

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Sulawesi Tengggara in the second quarter of 2013 was 107.62, meaning that the consumer economic condition increased from the previous quarter. The level of community optimism also increased compared to the first Quarter of 2013 (index value of 102.18).
Improved consumer economic conditions are mainly driven by increased household incomes, low inflationary effects on daily food consumption, and increased consumption of some food and non-food commodities.

Consumer Economy Outlook Quarter III-2013

The value of ITK Sulawesi Tengggara in the third quarter of 2013 by the public is estimated to reach 112.07, meaning that the consumer's economic condition is expected to improve. The level of consumer optimism is predicted to be higher than the second Quarter-2013 (ITK value of 107.62).
