Abstract

Kendari City Inflation in July 2009 was 0.54 percent
Decrease in foodstuff group price index by -0.01 percent.
The increase in the price index of the finished food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group 0.32 percent.
The rise in the price index in the housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group by 0.02 percent.
Decline in the index of clothing group prices -1.10 percent.
Increase in the health group price index 1.73 percent.
The increase in education, recreation and sports group index was 0.28 percent
The increase in transport group pricing, communications & financial services was 2.45 percent
The inflation rate of Kendari City in calendar year 2009 was 3.19 percent and inflation "year on year" was 5.52 percent (CPI July 2009 compared to July 2008 CPI).
National inflation portrait in July 2009 was recorded at 0.45 percent. Of the 66 cities that calculated CPI, 62 cities reflected Inflation and 4 cities reflected deflation. the highest inflation occurred in Sorong City 2.19 percent and the largest deflation occurred in Jayapura City 0.56 percent.
