Housing Statistics of Sulawesi Tenggara Province 2024

Housing is one of the basic needs of every human being. A house serves as a place of shelter and daily activities for its occupants. Therefore, it is important for the government to ensure the availability of adequate housing and a healthy environment to support community activities and well-being. Ultimately, this will have an impact on improving people’s welfare. The importance of housing development has made it a concern at both the national and global levels. Housing development is one of the targets in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020–2024 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Statistics Indonesia (BPS), through the annual National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), supports the provision of data on housing and environmental health. Housing-related data from Susenas are specifically presented in the publication Housing Statistics of Sulawesi Tenggara Province 2024. The data in this publication are classified by type of area and by regency/municipality. It is hoped that this publication will provide an overview of the achievements of housing development in Southeast Sulawesi.
