Farmers Terms of Trade Statistic of Sulawesi Tenggara Province 2024

The Farmer's Terms of Trade (NTP) Statistics Publication for Southeast Sulawesi Province 2024, published by the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Sulawesi Tenggara Province, presents data from 2022–2024, covering five subsectors: food crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock, and fisheries.Since 2020, NTP has been calculated using the 2018=100 base year. This change was made to adjust to shifts in agricultural production patterns and rural household consumption patterns. In addition to presenting price index data received and paid by farmers as well as the farmer's terms of trade, this publication also provides concepts, definitions, methodologies, and explanations of the weighting diagram used in NTP calculation. This allows data users to better understand the NTP calculation process.NTP serves as an indicator of farmers' purchasing power, measuring the exchange value of agricultural products produced by farmers against the goods and services consumed by farming households, including inputs for agricultural production.
