Farmers Terms of Trade Statistic of Sulawesi Tenggara Province 4th Quarter 2021

The Publication of Farmers' Exchange Rate Statistics (NTP) for Southeast Sulawesi Province, Quarter IV 2021, published by the Central Statistics Agency of Southeast Sulawesi Province, presents data for the fourth quarter of 2021 covering five sub-sectors, namely food crops, horticultural crops, smallholder plantation crops, livestock, and fisheries. Since 2020, NTP is calculated with the base year (2018=100). This change in the base year is made to adjust for changes/shifts in agricultural production patterns and consumption patterns of agricultural households in rural areas. In addition to presenting data on the index of prices received and paid by farmers and the exchange rate of farmers, this publication also presents the concept of definition, methodology and explanation of the weighing chart used in the preparation of the NTP. Thus, data users can understand well the process of calculating NTP. NTP as a measure of the ability of the exchange rate of goods (products) produced by farmers to goods/services consumed by farmer households, including goods and services to produce agricultural commodities.
