Abstract

In May, combined Year on Year (yoy) inflation for 2 cities in Southeast Sulawesi was 4.80 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Kotabaru at 6.04 percent.
  • In May 2023, the combined year-on-year (yoy) CPI inflation for 2 cities was 4.80 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 117.04. The highest yoy inflation occurred in Kotabaru at 6.04 percent with a CPI of 121.80 and the lowest occurred in Pangkal Pinang at 1.93 percent with a CPI of 114.16. While the highest month to month (mtm) inflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan by 1.28 percent with a CPI of 119.76 and the lowest inflation occurred in Pangkal Pinang, Mamuju and Tangerang each by 0.01 percent with a CPI of 114 each. 16, 114.65, and 113.48.
  • The combined inflation rate for the 2 CPI cities month to month (mtm) is 0.74 percent and the year to date (ytd) inflation rate for May 2023 is 1.03 percent.
