Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's economy based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the first quarter of 2023 reached IDR 41.01 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 25.50 trillion.
Southeast Sulawesi's economy in quarter I-2023 compared to quarter I-2022 grew by 6.48 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the Processing Industry Business Field experienced the highest growth of 26.15 percent. From the expenditure side, the Goods and Services Export Component experienced the highest growth of 7.21 percent.
Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter experienced a contraction of 7.43 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the Construction Business Field experienced the deepest contraction of 29.98 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the deepest contraction occurred in the Goods and Services Export Component of 35.46 percent.
From the production side, the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery Business Fields made the most dominant contribution to Southeast Sulawesi's GRDP of 24.06 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the most dominant contribution occurred in the Goods and Services Export Component of 48.25 percent.
