Abstract

In 2022, the rice harvest area will reach around 118.26 thousand hectares with production of 478.96 thousand tonnes of GKG.

If converted into rice, rice production in 2022 will reach 275.06 thousand tonnes.

The paddy harvested area in 2022 will reach around 118.26 thousand hectares, a decrease of 9.26 thousand hectares or 7.26 percent compared to the paddy harvested area in 2021 which was 127.52 thousand hectares.

Paddy production in 2022, which is 478.96 thousand tons of GKG, has decreased by 51.07 thousand tons or 9.64 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 530.03 thousand tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2022 for food consumption for the population will reach 275.06 thousand tons, a decrease of 29.33 thousand tons or 9.64 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 304.38 thousand tons.
