Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's economy based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2022 reached IDR 158.76 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 102.66 trillion

Southeast Sulawesi's economy in 2022 will experience growth of 5.53 percent (c-to-c). From the production side, the Processing Industry Business Field experienced the highest growth of 16.74 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Goods and Services Export Component of 17.58 percent.

Southeast Sulawesi's economy in quarter IV-2022 compared to quarter IV-2021 grew by 5.57 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the Government Administration, Defense and Compulsory Social Security Business Fields experienced the highest growth of 13.98 percent. From the expenditure side, the Goods and Services Export Component experienced the highest growth of 23.28 percent.

Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter grew by 5.69 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the Mining and Quarrying Business Field experienced the highest growth of 13.91 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Component of 14.07 percent.

From the production side, the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery Business Fields made the most dominant contribution to Southeast Sulawesi's GRDP of 22.06 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the most dominant contribution occurred in the Goods and Services Export Component of 63.08 percent.
