Abstract

The 2022 HDI increase occurs in all dimensions, both long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent standard of living.
  • In the education dimension, in 2022 children aged 7 years have the hope of enjoying 13.69 years of education or nearly the equivalent of the length of time it takes to complete education up to Diploma I level. This figure has increased by 0.01 years compared to 2021 which reached 13. 68 years. In addition, the average length of schooling for residents aged 25 years and over has also increased by 0.12 years, from 9.13 years to 9.25 years in 2022.
  • In the dimensions of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2022 have an expectation of being able to live up to 71.37 years, 0.1 years longer than those born in the previous year.
  • The dimension of a decent standard of living which is measured based on the average real expenditure per capita (adjusted) increased by 327 thousand rupiah (3.49 percent) compared to the previous year.
