Abstract

Kendari City in September 2022 experienced inflation of 0.43 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Bukittinggi at 1.87 percent.
The inflation rate for the calendar year (January–September) 2022 is 5.89 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (September 2022 to September 2021) is 5.65 percent.
Commodities that contribute to inflation include gasoline, inner-city transportation, air transportation, inter-city transportation, white cigarettes, broiler eggs, rice, filtered kretek cigarettes, diesel fuel, and rice with side dishes.
Commodities that contributed to deflation included scad fish/benggol fish, anchovies, skipjack/scaled fish, shallots, mackerel/bloated fish/banyar fish/gembolo fish/aso-aso fish, spinach, rambe fish, selar fish/ tude fish, kale, and live chickens.
