Abstract

  • Production Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry in Q2 / 2017 increased by 7.90 percent (y-on-y) to second quarter of 2016. The increase was mainly due to the increase in the production of Food Industry by 2.13 percent and Wood Industry, Wood and Cork Goods Including Furniture) and Woven Goods from Bamboo, Rattan and the like is 1.57 percent.
  •  Production Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in second quarter of 2017 increased by 3.61 percent (q-to-q) to the first quarter of 2017. Type of industry that experienced an increase in production was the Food Industry rose 1.78 percent.
  •  Production Growth of Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in second quarter of 2017 increased by 2.45 percent (y-on-y) to second quarter of 2016. The increase was mainly due to the increase of production of Other Transportation Equipment Industry 30.18 percent, Pharmaceutical Industry, Drugs of Chemistry and Traditional Medicine 27.62 percent, and Other Processing Industry by 25.05 percent. While the types of industries that experienced a decrease in production are Chemicals and Goods Industries fell by 24.77 percent, Apparel Industry 18.46 percent, and Food Industry fell by 14.00 percent.
  •  Production Growth of Small and Micro Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in second quarter of 2017 decreased by 2.31 percent (q-to-q) on the first quarter of 2017. The largest industrial decline in production was Non-Metallic Goods Industry by 14.55 percent , Apparel Industry 13.42 percent, and Food Industry 8.50 percent. While the types of industries that experienced an increase in production were Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Products and Traditional Medicines 22.55 percent, Other Processing Industry 22.50 percent, and Other Equipment Industry 21.09 percent.
