Abstract

  • NTP index Southeast Sulawesi in March 2017 recorded 96.16 or decreased by 1.13 percent compared to the previous month was recorded at 97.26. NTP index each subsector recorded as follows: food crops subsector (NTPP) 92.58; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 89.91; Smallholder Crop Subsector (NTPR) 91.98; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 105.41; and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 113.75. While the National NTP index of 99.95, down by 0.38 percent from the previous 100.33.
  • In March 2017, the national 29 provinces decreased NTP index, while four other provinces experienced an increase in index. The highest increase was recorded in the province of West Papua in the amount of 0.58 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Jakarta by 1.37 percent.
  • In March 2017, Southeast Sulawesi Province recorded an inflation rate of 0,45persen rural areas. This occurs because of the increase in the price index in six support groups namely: foodstuff by 0.69 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.19 percent; housing 0.82 percent; clothing group at 0.11 percent; health group 0.05 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.32 percent. While transportation and communication down by 0.02 percent.
