Abstract

Inflation Kendari City in February 2017, was recorded at 0.49 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 123.35. Nationally from 82 cities that calculates inflation 62 cities recorded inflation and 20 cities recorded deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Manado (North Sulawesi) 1.16 percent and the lowest was recorded in Ternate (North Maluku Province) 0.03 percent. The highest deflation being recorded in Jambi (Jambi) 1.40 percent and the lowest deflation was recorded in Bungo (Jambi) 0.02 percent.
Inflation in Kendari recorded due to the increase in the price index of foodstuffs 1.11 percent; clothing 0.81 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.48 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.37 percent; and health 0.18 percent. While the group recorded a negative, namely transport, communication and financial services 0.02 percent and education, recreation and sport 0.01 percent.
Commodities that contributed the biggest inflation is skipjack / scales; electricity tariff; pulse rate phone; Cayenne pepper; spinach; cooking oil; cigarettes; cucumber; trousers sersin women and overpasses / bump.
Commodities contributing to deflation is air transport; Kale; mustard greens; banana; chicken meat; Long eggplant; young jackfruit; baronang; onion and cassava leaves.
