Abstract

  • The Southeast Sulawesi NTP index in November 2013 was 106.51, up 0.74 percent from the previous month. The NTP index of each sub-sector was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 81.56; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) 116,32; Subsector of Smallholder Plantations (NTP-Pr) 128.43; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 88,71; and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 110,54. While the National NTP Index of 105.15 or decreased by 0.14 percent.
  • In November 2013, nationally 17 provinces experienced an increase in the NTP Index, 1 province did not experience any change in NTP index and 14 other provinces decreased. The highest increase was recorded in Bangka Belitung Province by 1.01 percent, the largest decline recorded in Riau Islands Province by 1.01 percent while West Java Province did not experience any change in NTP index. Southeast Sulawesi province is on the order of five increases in the NTP Index.
  •     In November 2013, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi declined by 0.04 percent. This happens because of the relatively large price index in the foodstuff category by 0.20 percent.
