Abstract

The NTP of Southeast Sulawesi in July 2013 was 106.05 or decreased 1.09 percent compared to the previous month, with NTP of each subsector recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 83,43; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) 117.75; Subsector of Smallholder Plantations (NTP-Pr) 124,13; Livestock Sub-sector (NTP-Pt) 89.25; and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 110,27. While the National NTP of 104.58 or decreased by 0.67 percent.
In July 2013, 4 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 28 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Riau Islands Province by 0.69 percent. While the largest NTP decline occurred in Jambi Province of 2.47 percent. For Southeast Sulawesi is in the fourteenth position of NTP decline.
In July 2013, the change in rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi increased by 3.83 percent. This happens because of the increase of price index in all consumption groups namely; foodstuffs 4,84 percent; Food So 1.96 percent; housing 1.36 percent; clothing 1.29 percent; health 2.38 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.66 percent; and Transportation and communication 8.01 percent.
