Abstract

  • In March 2013, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 84,51; Horticultural Sub-sector (NTP-H) 116,07; Subsector of Smallholder Plantations (NTP-R) 122.95; Livestock Sub-sector (NTP-Pt) 90.65; and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 109,48. Where the NTP of Southeast Sulawesi was 105.72 or decreased 0.56 percent compared to the previous month, or ranked seventh in the national NTP decline. While the National NTP of 104.53 or decreased by 0.63 percent.
  • In March 2013, 7 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 25 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung Province by 0.54 percent. While the largest decrease of NTP occurred in Central Java Province by 1.05 percent.
  • In March 2013, the rural consumer price index changes in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.12 percent. This happened because of the increase of price index in five consumption groups namely; the finished food group was 0.51 percent; housing 0.26 percent; health 0.14 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.25 percent; and transportation and communication 0.04 percent.
