Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's export value in August 2012 was US $ 44.52 million or an increase of 10.88 percent compared to July's export of US $ 40.15. Meanwhile, export volume in August 2012 was recorded at 564.72 thousand tons or decreased by 49.67 percent compared to July export of 1,122.03 thousand tons.
Total Southeast Sulawesi exports in 2012 reached 15,466.01 thousand tons or US $ 642.44 million.
Value of Southeast Sulawesi imports in August 2012 was US $ 18.66 million or decreased by 36.01 percent compared to July imports of US $ 29.16 million. Meanwhile, import volume in August 2012 was recorded at 18.99 thousand tons or decreased by 33.55 percent compared to July's import of 28.58 thousand tons.
Total import of Southeast Sulawesi in 2012 reached 183.26 thousand tons or US $ 213.87 million.
