Abstract

  • In September 2010, the NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 84.69; Horticultural Sub-sector (NTP-H) 124,83; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 125.90; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 93.67 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 105.75. Where NTPp Southeast Sulawesi recorded 107.07 or a decrease of 0.71 percent compared to the previous month, or was ranked thirty-two nationally. While the National NTP of 102.19 or rose by 0.36 percent.
  • Of the 32 Provinces reported in September 2010, 21 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 11 provinces decreased. The highest increase of NTP occurred in North Maluku Province which is 1.55 percent. Meanwhile, the biggest decrease of NTP occurred in Southeast Sulawesi Province which was 0.71 percent.
  • In September 2010, there was an inflation in rural Southeast Sulawesi of 0.76 percent due to an increase in the foodstuff price index of 1.32 percent; clothing 1.05 percent; health 0.15 percent; transport and communications by 0.11 percent; housing 0.05 percent and education, recreation and sports by 0.03 percent.
