Abstract

Kendari City Inflation in April 2010 was 0.31 percent
The increase in foodstuff group price index was 0.34 percent.
The decline in the index of prices for finished food, beverages, cigarette & tobacco was 0.24 percent.
The decline in the price index in the housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group by 0.18 percent.
The increase in the price index of the clothing group by 0.36 percent.
An increase in the healthcare price index of 0.09.
The increase in the education, recreation and sports group price index was 0.32 percent
The increase in transport group price index, communications & financial services 1.20 percent
The inflation rate of Kendari City in calendar year 2010 was 0.11 percent and inflation "year on year" (CPI April 2010 compared to April 2009 CPI) by 0.73 percent.
The national inflation figure for April 2010 was 0.15 percent. Of the 66 cities that calculated the CPI, 45 cities reflected inflation and 21 cities reflected deflation. the highest inflation occurred in Manokwari City 2.04 percent and the largest deflation occurred in Tarakan City 2.08 percent.
