Abstract

The Inflation of Kendari City in October 2009 was 0.37 percent
The increase in the foodstuff index was 0.39 percent.
Decrease in the index of the prices of food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco -0.14 percent.
The rise in the price index in the housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group by 0.32 percent.
The increase in the price index of the clothing group by 0.26 percent.
Increase in price index Health group 0.37 percent.
Decrease in index of education, recreation and sports group by -0.46 percent
The increase in transport group pricing, communications & financial services was 1.01 percent
The inflation rate of Kendari City in calendar year 2009 was 5.29 percent and inflation "year on year" was 5.11 percent (CPI October 2009 compared to October 2008 CPI).
The national inflation picture for October 2009 was recorded at 0.19 percent. Of the 66 cities that calculated the CPI, 45 cities reflected Inflation and 21 cities reflected deflation. the highest inflation occurred in the city of Padang 1.78 percent and the largest deflation occurred in Banda Aceh 1.30 percent.
