Abstract

Podes 2024 collects a variety of information, both those are potential for villages/subdistricts, informationrelated to vulnerabilities or challenges faced by villages/subdistricts, and basic infrastructure in village/subdistricts.Information related to the potential of the village/subdistric includes: demography and employment, settlementand enironment, education, health, socio-culture, sports and entertainment, transportation, communication andinformation, economy, security, development and empowerment of the village/subdistricts community. Informationrelated to vulnerabilities or challenges includes natural disasters, environmental pollution, social and health problemsin the community, and security disturbances that occur in villages/subdistricts. Infrastructure information in
villages/subdistricts includes: education, health and economic infrastructure.
The results of Podes 2024 shows that most of the villages/subdistricts in Sulawesi Tenggara have peopleworking in agriculture, forestry and fisheries, namely1.821villages/subdistricts. In addition, there are 211villages/subdistricts where most of the people work in wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicle andmotorcycles, and there are 112 villages/subdistricts where most of the people work in the manufacturing industry.The number of village/subdistricts communities working in agriculture in Indonesia is supported by the presenceof rivers, irrigation canals and reservoirs located in villages/subdistricts. Of the 2.292 villages/subdistricts inSulawesi Tenggara, there are 1.462 villages/subdistricts with rivers, 578 villages/subdistricts with irrigationcanals, and 257 villages/subdistricts with embung.
