Abstract

The number of passengers departing using air transport in Southeast Sulawesi Province in January 2023 fell by 11.16 percent.
  • The amount of goods loaded by domestic ships in Southeast Sulawesi Province in January 2023 fell by 75.65 percent.
  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in January 2023 was recorded at 44,214 people, a decrease of 11.16 percent compared to December 2022, which recorded 49,769 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in January 2023 decreased by 4.56 percent compared to December 2022, from 48,799 people to 46,576 people.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in January 2023 was recorded at 115,035 people, an increase of 0.89 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 114,025 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in January 2023 was 102,866 people, down 5.00 percent compared to December 2022, which recorded 108,283 people.
  • The amount of goods unloaded from domestic ships in January 2023 decreased by 62.45 percent compared to December 2022, from 7,756,167 tons to 2,912,452 tons. The same condition occurs for goods loaded by domestic ships. In January 2023, the amount of goods loaded by domestic ships decreased by 75.65 percent compared to December 2022, from 6,953,592 tons to 1,693,279 tons.
