Abstract

The Total Fertility Rate (TFR) of Southeast Sulawesi reached 2.57, continuing to decrease but still quite far from the Replacement Level (2.1).

The highest birth rate in Southeast Sulawesi according to a certain age group (ASFR) was in the age group 25-29 years with a figure of 142.79. This means that there are 142-143 births per 1,000 women aged 25-29 years.

The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) reached 23.29, meaning that around 23 babies died before they were 1 year old among 1,000 babies born alive in Southeast Sulawesi Province.

The lifetime migration of Southeast Sulawesi is 16.47, meaning that around 16-17 people out of 100 residents of Southeast Sulawesi were born in other provinces.

Southeast Sulawesi risen migration was 3.06 percent, meaning that there were around 3 people out of 100 residents of Southeast Sulawesi residing in other provinces in the previous 5 years.

The prevalence of disability in the population aged 5 years and over who are female (1.58 percent) is higher than that of males (1.38 percent).

Residents in Southeast Sulawesi aged 2 years and over use more regional languages in their family (46.66 percent) than in their neighbors/relatives (42.21 percent).
