Abstract

The number of passengers departing using air transportation in Southeast Sulawesi Province in May 2022 rose 33.46 percent.
The number of goods loaded by domestic ships in Southeast Sulawesi Province in May 2022 increased by 126.96 percent.
The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in May 2022 was recorded at 59,684 people, an increase of 33.46 percent compared to April 2022 which was recorded at 44,719 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in May 2022 rose 33.53 percent compared to April 2022, from 44,176 people to 58,987 people.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in May 2022 was recorded at 223,015 people, an increase of 57.04 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 142,008 people. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in May 2022 was 191,962 people, an increase of 25.65 percent compared to April 2022 which was recorded at 152,780 people.
The number of goods unloaded from domestic ships in May 2022 decreased by 5.12 percent compared to April 2022, from 783,758 tons to 743,604 tons. Different conditions occur in goods loaded by domestic ships. In May 2022, the number of goods loaded by domestic ships increased by 126.96 percent compared to April 2022, from 4,415.828 tons to 10,022,290 tons.
